Getting Fired up for Ignite 2011!
Wednesday, May 25th, 2011It’s a few hours to go before Ignite 2011! We are so pumped up to kick off our LifeBox Campus Conference! Are you ready to rock for God?
We started our pre-conference sessions today, May 25, at the Every Nation Building in Bonifacio Global City. More than a thousand students, LIFE Coaches, and campus volunteers attended our sessions that surely captured their hearts and pumped up the fire for reaching their campuses.
Pastor Ryan Tan of Victory U-Belt shared an message on God’s h’eart for the multitudes. Sometimes, certain things may draw us back from sharing the Gospel to our classmates and friends. In spite of that, Pastor Ryan encourages us to believe that God is greater than all our limitations.
Pastor Jojo Henson also shared a message on exercising our God-given right to choose. Recounting the story of Saul and Jonathan, Pastor Jojo exhorted all of us to get out of our comfort zones and simply trust God. “Jonathan chose to trust God because he knew that he’s serving a big God. As a result, God delivered Jonathan from his enemies.”
In the afternoon, the participants attended different sessions on discipling students. A number of students even shared their testimonies on reaching their respective campuses. It was truly a fruitful time of equipping and empowering each other!
